Locust Grove Upper Elementary Pirate Promise

I am a Pirate! I will lead to succeed. I am in charge to determine who I will be.  I look towards the end, I think win-win. I listen then speak, for understanding I seek.  I work before play, I give my best each day. Together we realize, we're best when we synergize. Great things are ahead for me to succeed.  I have all the tools, I am ready to lead!

         Did you know?

Chronic absenteeism means missing 10% or more of school days in a year.

5 to 7.5 million students are chronically absent each year.

Students who are chronically absent are less likely to succeed academically and more likely to drop out of school.

Attending school every day increases a child’s chances of success in school and in life.
